What Is Deep Skinning & Silver Skinning?
Deep Skinning
Deep skinning removes not only the skin but also a portion of the underlying dark fat layer, providing a cleaner and leaner fillet. This method is ideal for premium fillet production where aesthetics and fat removal are priorities.
Silver Skinning
Silver skinning is a precise skinning technique that retains most of the fat layer while removing only the silver membrane. It preserves more meat and is preferred when yield and nutrition retention are key.
